CO-FOUNDER

Hi there! I’m Careah – wife, mom of three and lover of all things cozy. I was born and raised in Oklahoma but moved around much of my young adult life with my handsome Coastie husband. We finally landed in the suburbs of Kansas City where we are raising our beautiful children and loving the community we are a part of.

I learned quickly that home base matters and cultivating a space where I could feel grounded was essential for my mental health.  My desire is to wrap you up in a hug with the design we create for you. Home should be a place where you feel belonging, rest and at the same time joy. I come alive with pattern, texture and pieces that have deep personal meaning. I do not believe all trends must be followed and find beauty in using things with a little love built in. 

CO-FOUNDER

While I’m not a Kansas City native, (shout out to Cincinnati!) I’ve called this area home for the last 15 years. Three kids and three houses later, we are currently renovating our beautiful ranch on land just south of the city. If I’m not chasing cats, chickens or kids, you’ll find me dreaming up another do it yourself project.

Home has always been an important part of my life. From providing a warm, safe place for our kids to a place full of love for our friends, I have always been intentional with the environment around me. 

My design passion focuses around this concept, to be fully intentional about every detail. I want to use every sense to bring warmth, character, and comfort into a space while honoring the needs and desires of my client.
